Protecting your teen's safety and privacy
What does that mean?
Up until 12 years old: In the Portal, parents/legal guardians create an account and schedule directly there or send us an appointment request.*
After 12 years old: In the Portal, a minor's email and contact information is needed. From 12-15 years old, parents/legal guardians will have limited access to the Portal until the minor's 15th birthday, per State law.*
*Heartfelt Pediatrics follows State and Federal laws on minor confidentiality regarding portals and other health rights. For more information click here. So, if a minor would like an adult to have full access to their Portal account, they can sign our Patient Portal Access form here.
